Forage is the foundation of a horse's health, and it's also an agricultural product with a real environmental footprint. We believe those two things aren't in conflict. By working with the right producers, cutting waste and planning every delivery, we can supply consistently excellent hay while treading more lightly.
We're not claiming to be perfect. Sustainability is a direction, not a badge, and we're committed to keep improving, honestly and step by step.
Four ways we keep our footprint low
Responsibly & organically sourced
We work only with trusted French and Portuguese producers who meet strict standards for harvesting, drying and storage, and we actively favour organic-certified and low-input forage where available. Good land management means better hay and healthier soil, year after year.
🌱 Organic-minded sourcingEfficient, planned delivery
We plan routes and consolidate loads so hay travels as full and as few kilometres as possible. Full-truck deliveries move a lot of forage in a single, efficient trip, fewer journeys, lower emissions per bale.
Less waste by design
Our double-compressed bales pack more hay into less space, so they store longer without spoiling and transport far more efficiently on pallets. Denser bales mean less mould, less waste and more hay delivered per truck.
Local where it counts
We balance premium French forage with the best locally produced Portuguese hay. Sourcing close to home shortens supply chains, supports regional farmers and cuts the distance your everyday forage has to travel.

Good forage starts with people who care about their land. We build long-term relationships with growers who share our standards, rewarding careful harvesting, proper drying and honest quality rather than the lowest price. That continuity is better for the soil, better for the farmers, and better for your horses.
