Prime Hay shavings

Why horse owners switch

Bedding you can feel the difference in

Large, soft flakes that spread easily and stay springy underfoot. Light in dust, so the air in the stable stays cleaner for your horse and for you.

Low in dust

Gentle on sensitive airways, a good choice for horses that cough or spend long hours inside.

Highly absorbent

Soaks up moisture and keeps the bed dry and fresh for longer.

Quick to muck out

Wet patches lift out cleanly, so you use fewer bags and spend less time per box.

Compressed ≈ 15 kg bags

Clean, dry and easy to stack. 30 bags on a pallet, delivered and placed where you need them.

Shavings FAQ

How does the full-truck discount work?

The more bags travel in one delivery, the lower the cost per bag. A full truck gives you the lowest price per bag we offer. Because it depends on your region and the size of the load, we send you a personal quote with your exact price per bag.

What is the minimum order?

Half a pallet, 15 bags. A full pallet holds 30 bags. You can order up to 6 pallets online, for more we quote personally.

Is delivery included in the price?

Delivery is calculated separately, based on where your stable is. Your quote shows both, so you know the full cost before you decide.

Can I combine shavings with hay or feed?

Yes. Many customers add hay or feed to the same delivery, so it all arrives in one go. Just tick the box in the form or mention it in your message.

Do I need a forklift or tractor?

For a few pallets it helps to have a pallet truck or tractor on site. For a full truck an unloader (tractor, telehandler or forklift) is essential, because everything ships on pallets. Not sure? Ask us and we’ll plan it with you.

How much do I need per horse?

That depends on box size, how long your horse stays in and how you muck out. Tell us the number of horses in the form and we’ll give you a practical estimate with your quote.
