Hay in the Alentejo

We serve 39 municipalities in the Alentejo, in the Évora, Portalegre and Beja districts. The closest to the depot is Almodôvar (about 52 km) and the furthest is Barrancos (about 180 km). All of them are within the 250 km range of the Prime Hay Service.

In the central Alentejo the estates are large and so are the distances. We deliver straight to the farm with our own truck and stack the bales in your barn, no machinery needed on site.

In the Alto Alentejo, home of the Alter Real and a long equestrian tradition, dry summers leave little grazing. A consistent hay with known nutritional values helps keep horses in good condition.

The Baixo Alentejo has the hottest summers in the country and pastures that dry out early. We deliver low-sugar hay and straw, and for larger orders we agree a delivery date with you.
